Channurjit Singh Channi was a Canadian Footballer.
Born in Toronto in the north of Ontario, Sonnenfeld was selected to fill the number 16 list for the Canadian Football League at the beginning of the 2006 season. Channurjit played in Toronto’s North End team during the regular season before winning 2–0 to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on 24 January 2004.
Channurjit played a game for Hamilton with the reserves, but was eventually sidelined with a head injury on 26 September 2004. Channurjit’s final club appearance came against Vancouver on the final day of the 2004 season in the third-placed game of the Canada Soccer Championship in Canada: Toronto.
He did score one goal for the Bets against the Vancouver Whitecaps as they played out their second consecutive 2-0 win over FC Cincinnati on 30 January 2005.
He will try and play for new York FC FC in his debut season as a regular at this position.
